FANTASCICON THE RESURRECTION!
After a lengthy conversation with Bob, our party will be more than just a party. It will be a Mini-Convention that Bob will graciously be hosting, much like when he hosted Deep South Con, several years ago. Just think, you will be getting two conventions for the price of one. This, in no way means that FantaSciCon will be coming back as a fully fledged convention. However we will be doing more than just movies and a party. The first change is instead of doing a double feature on Friday night we will be doing a Triple Feature. The first feature will be “Starship Troopers” at dusk. I read the book, by Robert Heinlein, before most of you were born. I think that was one of the deciding factors for my enlisting in the Air Force when I turned 18, in 1971. Our second feature will be “Wing Commander”. I still have my copy of “Wing Commander for Windows 95” on CDs. The third and final feature, for this year, will be “Guardians of the Galaxy”. I am presently coming up with some events and goodies to do in the pavilion during the daylight hours, for this year. If anyone would like to do some Gaming, in the pavilion, shoot me an email to email@example.com and we will try to accommodate you. Just let me know the games you would like to run and an approximate time.
Catch the Wind (weather permitting)
Buy or Build a kite and join me Saturday afternoon on that beautiful stretch of grass in front of the main hall to try and catch the wind. Any kite is acceptable. I have always preferred the common diamond shaped ones. It’s always more fun to build our own.
I will be raffling off Yoda’s cane that I found a long time ago on a planet far far away. I was always going to put it in the Charity Auction, but had misplaced it and thought I had lost it, however, I recently found it. The drawing will be Saturday evening during the party.

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone, again, after being off the radar for six years.
