Cost:
Pre-Pay is $35 (valid until end of LibertyCon July 1st)
Address Checks to OutsideCon. Mail Checks to 1977 Mark Avenue Clarksville TN 37043
The cost is $45 after July 1st and at the door. We accept cash and checks the weekend of the con.
Specific cabin assignments MUST be clearly stated to Robert Embler before the convention so he can be assured to put you where you think you belong. If you remain silent, he is not a mind-reader. However, never assume you will get the same cabin. Ultimately Robert is the end-decider of all unlikely cabin feuds. (Theresa will bring a wooden whiffle bat paddle if needed.)
Why checks and not Paypal? If we do PayPal it requires that Bob register this as a 501 c Charity and that costs more money not to mention he just does this out of the goodness of his heart. There is no overage of $, most years he is in the red, but he likes to see YOU!
What does my $45 get me for the weekend?
Meals and drinks are provided all weekend. You will also be assigned to a cabin. The cabins have 2 and 4 bed options and while they are rustic, they do have working electricity. There are bath houses located near the cabins too. Picture this as Summer Camp for Adults (but you can bring the kids too!).
People who decide they'd rather camp in a tent must specify they will be doing so and can deduct $10 from their general admission no matter what time they decide to come.
People who wish to stay in the State Park Inn must incur their own costs for stay, however if you elect to stay at the inn, you also are eligible for the$10 discount.
But Bob, surely food isn't worth nearly $45 for a weekend, we all gasp. But wait, there's more. Toilet paper, soap dispensers, dishware, plates, silverware, etc are NOT provided by the park. Additionally, the space we spend time in and walk about so freely is at a premium as it is only rented to large groups.
This is among the cheapest of the conventions you will ever go to AND you don't have to worry about many incidentals.
What to Bring:
Bedding, Toiletries, a good attitude, etc.
People 21 and older are free to bring their own libations however, anyone caught giving alcohol to minors are still subject to the law.
